We are doing our part to reduce carbon emissions, by installing an impressive 99kW Solar System.
Carrera by Design installed 277 Premium 360w solar panels accompanied by 4 x SMA 25kW inverters on our factory roof.
E-Zero Eco Certified Board
We only use Australian E-Zero Eco Certified board from Australian Companies.
Carrera is committed to an eco–friendly and sustainable environment.
All Carrera products are manufactured from E0 or E1 Customwood MDF.
Chain of Custody (CoC) is the process of tracking wood and forest products originating in certified forests through all phases of ownership, transportation and manufacturing from defined forest acres to the final product and delivery to the end consumer.
Chain of Custody (CoC) certified under the Australian Forestry Standard. Our suppliers CoC certification assists to reassure us that certified products purchased from us are from legal, well-managed forests.

Wood Recycle
With what normally would be landfill, we sort and collect our wood and send to recycle, with the aim to help produce new products from old products.
Reducing waste after product has reached end of life in the market, One type of such processes is the re-manufacturing of particleboard which utilises recycled wood and particleboard off cuts into the production of new particleboard.
Paper and Cardboard Recycle
When cardboard breaks down in landfill it creates methane, a greenhouse gas with a global warming capacity 21 times more powerful than carbon dioxide.Recycling cardboard can save greenhouse gases from being created. Cardboard is one of the easiest and most environmentally effective materials to recycle
Aquacolor
An environmentally friendly, water based coating system for glass, timber and other substrates. It is specifically designed to meet environmental requirements and still retain the integrity of a solvent based system.
Aquacolor is a water based polyurethane, which is internally cross-linked during production to provide resistance to chemicals, moisture and heat, maintaining colour depth, vibrancy and structural integrity.
