Returns, Refunds & Replacement Policy
Carrera by Design offers returns, refunds, and replacements in accordance to Consumer Guarantees and Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law.
It is the Consumers responsibility to immediately inspect any goods that we provide to you to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you. You the consumer acknowledge and agree that the colour/finish of goods as shown on the Website may vary in real life and you have read any written description of the goods on the Website before submitting your order.
To be eligible for a return the consumer must notify Carrera by design, within 14 days of receiving the product that they wish to return the product. This can be done by sending an email through to email@example.com with details of the product, including the order number which is emailed through when the initial order is placed, and must include reasoning for the return of the product. The item must be assessed and proven to be faulty to be entitled to a return.
We will not accept return of any product that has been used or installed or where you have attempted to install it, or if your product is custom-made or a special order. The return must also be in new condition.
The product cannot be returned, and a refund offered if the consumer is returning the item due to a change of mind or the product that has been used or installed or where you have attempted to install it, or if your product is custom-made or a special order.
It is the consumers responsibility to ensure that the actual size of each product is suitable for your purpose prior to submitting your Order. The sizes of each of our products are provided in the specification drawing on each product page.
You the consumer must organise transportation of the product to Carrera by Design’s factory, at your cost, where the product will be assessed. You the consumer must adequately package any product you are returning to us to ensure that it is not damaged during return delivery to our factory as we take no responsibility for items damaged during transportation. All items including packaging must also be returned in the original condition.
From time to time some goods on the website may be out of stock or unavailable and we may not be able to fulfill all or part of your order. If this happens, Carrera by Design will:
Contact you within 5 business days to either:
• Arrange a full or partial refund; or
• Change your order to replace the goods with a comparable product as agreed with you; or
• Come to an alternative arrangement.
If you the consumer requests for a refund due to a faulty product, please allow 5 working days for the refund to be processed at our office once we have assessed and accepted the return. You will receive an email once the refund has been processed. The refund will depend on the period of time it takes your financial institution to process the refund. Carrera by Design is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense or injury you or any third party incur as a result of any delay in processing your refund.
